Akademisk Boldklub. Akademisk Boldklub (AB) is a Danish football club founded in 1889, one of Denmark's oldest football clubs. The club's home ground is Gladsaxe Stadion in Gladsaxe, north of Copenhagen, where the first team plays its home matches. For more than 135 years, AB has been a place where football brings people together — from the club's roots as a student club to today's broad community of players, volunteers, partners, and fans.
