The AB 1889 brand identity system. The colors, typography, logos, and rules that protect AB's visual identity across all platforms and communication channels.
Color Palette
Six colors make up the AB 1889 palette. AB Green and AB Gold are the primary marks. Neon Green is approved for digital and Pantone spot only — never convert to CMYK.

7 Things Never to Do
These rules protect the integrity of the AB 1889 identity system. Each represents a known misuse risk.
Do not recreate the AB monogram using any typeface. The lettermark is custom-drawn. Any version made from a font — including condensed sans-serifs — is not acceptable.
Do not convert Neon Green to CMYK for process print. #00FF1F is fluorescent and falls outside the CMYK gamut. Use for digital or Pantone spot printing only.
Do not use the AB monogram and logo simultaneously in a sponsor lockup. They serve different institutional roles. Together with a partner mark the result is overcrowded and confusing.
Do not place any mark on a low-contrast background. The AB Green monogram requires sufficient contrast. Avoid mid-tone greens or olives. Use white or gold versions instead.
Do not stretch, distort, or unevenly scale any mark. All logos, monograms, and lockups must be scaled proportionally at all times, without exception.
Do not use off-brand typefaces as substitutes for ABC Camera Plain. When unavailable, Helvetica is the only approved temporary fallback. No display fonts, scripts, or other sans-serifs.
Do not editorialize the club's heritage claims. Championship years and honours are official record. Do not abbreviate, omit, or approximate history.
