Tomorrow, Tuesday 14 July, AB Gladsaxe will play the second training match leading up to the start of the season in the Betinia League on Friday 24 July 2026 in Vejle.

The friendly match has an international touch to it when Helsingborgs IF comes to Gladsaxe.
The match will be played at Gladsaxe Stadium with kick off starting at 14:00.

Helsingborgs IF plays in the Swedish Superettan, which is Sweden’s second best league.
Superettan is a tournament that follows the calendar year. Here during the summer break, Helsingborgs IF is in 9th place after 14 games, and there are 16 teams in Superettan. Milan Silva Rasmussen has made his mark at Helsingborgs IF and came to AB from the southern Swedish club after a loan spell at HIK.
It will be an interesting training match, where a club from the top of the second-best league in Sweden is the opponent. It should give some hints about where the team stands right now and where it needs to be intensified towards the start of the season shortly.

Head coach Fannar Berg Gunnólfsson said after today’s training: “Tomorrow we play a test match against Helsingborgs IF. We know about them and their game, but we haven’t gone into it that much. We know that they play 4-2-3-1, and so do some of the teams we will face in the coming season. It will be a good test for us when we want to push man-to-man.
It’s a very important game for us and I hope we will see a good performance, especially in the first 45 minutes. We will change and only a few players will play 90 minutes, so we will not play with two teams – we will play again on Saturday. The most important thing right now is to see where the team stands,” concludes Fannar Berg Gunnólfsson.
