Akademisk Boldklub A\/S is proud to announce the appointment of Sofie Brandi Petersen to the role of Strategic Advisor to the Chairman of the Board. The appointment marks a natural further development of Sofie’s contribution to the club after one of the most significant periods of transformation in AB’s modern history, which culminated in the club’s promotion to the Betinia Liga. <\/p>\n\n
Since Sofie joined AB following the club’s acquisition of Five Castles Football Group, LLC, she has played a central role in the comprehensive commercial and organizational reconstruction of the club as CEO. She has helped establish the structures, processes and collaborations that have created the foundation for AB’s sustainable growth and development. <\/p>\n\n
With this foundation now firmly in place and the club on its way into a new and exciting chapter, Sofie transitions from the role of CEO to a function that reflects both her experience, relationships and the strategic priorities that will support AB’s continued development in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n
As Strategic Advisor to the Chairman of the Board, Sofie will be in charge of AB’s representation in the Divisional Association, be the club’s primary contact person in relation to the municipality and support a number of the club’s most important strategic collaborations across Danish football.<\/p>\n\n
Henrik Bom will continue as President of AB A\/S with overall responsibility for the commercial development and day-to-day management of the club’s local organization. In her new role, Sofie will work closely with AB’s Chairman of the Board, Brian Grieco, and contribute to ensuring continuity and progress within league and stakeholder relations, the collaboration with the municipality and the club’s long-term infrastructure development in a crucial phase of AB’s continued development. <\/p>\n\n
“The past two and a half years have been about rebuilding the foundation under AB and creating the stability necessary for long-term success,”<\/em> says Sofie Brandi Petersen. “Now that we have created operational stability and strong momentum, I look forward to focusing even more on strategic projects as well as the relationships with the club’s key stakeholders.
