The 19-year-old Murshed has signed a deal running until June 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOsama comes from our academy and is an exciting young player. He has really made great strides during this preseason, and I\u2019m incredibly proud that yet another young AB player is making the step up to senior level,\u201d says head coach Joey Gudjonsson.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Murshed has played for AB&#8217;s U19 academy team throughout the 2024\/2025 season and has been a key player for the side that won the U19 league.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOsama has really impressed us during preseason training, and he has shown that he\u2019s ready to make the step up to senior football. He\u2019s a very direct player and good at putting pressure on the opponent, and it will be exciting to see him develop further under Joey with the first team,\u201d says sporting director Jen Chang.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Murshed joined AB\u2019s academy in July 2023 and has contributed with 10 goals in 43 matches \u2013 including eight goals in 29 matches during the 2024\/2025 season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cSigning a contract with AB is a dream come true, and I\u2019m very proud to represent the club as we head into the upcoming season.
