Akademisk Boldklub A\/S has entered into an agreement regarding the loan of striker, Christian Wagner, to Thisted FC until the summer of 2025.<\/p>\n
AB’s head coach sees the loan agreement as a good match: “We are very pleased that Thisted has given Wagner an opportunity to apply for regular playing time in the division. I have a lot of faith that he is a striker who can help us in the future, and the best thing for him right now is to play every week and hopefully score goals.”<\/em><\/p>\n 21-year-old Wagner moved to AB in July 2023 and has played 42 games in the 2nd Division, contributing 7 goals and 3 assists.<\/p>\n “There is a lot of competition for playing time among our strikers, and after good talks with Christian, we have agreed that a loan stay in Thisted this spring is the right step,”<\/em> says AB’s sports director, Jen Chang and continues: “Hopefully he will play a lot of minutes at Thisted FC and can continue to develop his game. before he returns to us in the summer.”<\/em><\/p>\n The striker came to AB from Aab, where he has also played throughout his youth career.
