Søren Ilsøe is part of AB’s captain group and is known as a true fighter in midfield. He received his football education from Esbjerg fB’s youth academy and has since played university football in the USA for both NE Huskies and UConn Huskies. On the field, Ilsøe is a strong duelist with a great winning mentality, who dominates in aerial play and often leads the way in close combat. With his jersey firmly tucked into his shorts, he represents the old-school playing style – uncompromising, hardworking, and with a big heart for the team.
