AB plays tomorrow, Friday February 20th, 2026, their fifth and second-to-last friendly ahead of the spring season kick-off on 7 March 2026. This time, their 2nd Division colleagues Fremad Amager host AB at Sundby Idrætspark, Englandsvej 61, Copenhagen. The traditional Copenhagen derby kicks off at 12:00.

AB will be looking for revenge. The last time the two teams met in the league was at the end of October 2025. That match ended 2–1 to Fremad Amager, with AB’s goal scored by Noah Engell.
Fremad Amager are in 11th place after the team had 6 points deducted in January 2026 in the CampoBet 2nd Division, as Amager Elite ApS entered restructuring proceedings and therefore had points deducted in accordance with DBU rules. The case is currently being handled by the Bankruptcy Court of the Maritime and Commercial High Court.

Last weekend, Fremad Amager drew 1–1 at home in Sundby Idrætspark against Sundby Boldklub. AB won 4–0 in Sweden against Trelleborg FF. AB have loaned Daniel A. Pedersen and Steven Bala to Fremad Amager, so we may see a reunion.

Head coach Fannar Berg Gunnólfsson believes it will be a good test: ”I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s match against Fremad Amager. We had a big win last weekend, and that was really good. We’ve also done well in the previous friendlies, and we’re improving all the time, step by step. There’s always something we can keep working on. The boys are always very focused and respond positively to the work we need to do.

Fremad Amager are a really good team, but they’re in a difficult situation in the table. They’re a physical side, so I think it will be a good test for us two weeks before the first match of the spring.

We won’t be playing at Gladsaxe Stadium in the first match—there’s still snow on the pitch. So we’re looking at what options there are to play the match somewhere else,” concludes Fannar Berg Gunnólfsson.
