When AB Gladsaxe travels to Køge tomorrow, Saturday, January 24, 2026, it will be almost a year since AB last met HB Køge in a training match. That match ended 0-0.
Saturday’s match will be played at Capelli Sport Stadion, with access through the foyer on the Scor.dk stand.
HB Køge plays in the Betina League and is in 11th place during the winter break. Like AB, this is HB Køge’s second training match in the pre-season. They played their first match against Næstved, which ended 1–1. As you know, AB won 3-0 against FA 2000.

It will be exciting to see AB’s team test themselves against a team from the Betina League and see where the team stands at the moment and in relation to a strong opponent.

Head coach Fannar Berg Gunnolfsson expects a good match against a good team:

This is our second practice match, and we’re going into it with the same mindset as the first. Our focus is again on giving the players the right amount of minutes on the field, and some players will get more playing time, so that players with minor ailments are not burdened. We also have some players that we are saving for this match.
We’re playing against a first division team, and we’re playing with two teams that each get a half. I hope they balance their teams so that their two teams are largely the same – but if they don’t, it doesn’t matter so much to us. Our focus is on what we want to do and how we handle their pressure depending on how they line up. We need to understand how they approach the match and then take control of the match.
