Akademisk Boldklub A/S announces that defender Yael Liesdek will leave the club by mutual agreement.
Striker Onesime Tembe will also leave the club in July to join Swedish club FC Rosengård on a six-month loan.
About the two players, sports director Jen Chang says.
-Yael has shown fantastic professionalism throughout his time with us, where he has always given 100%. We wish him every success in the future.
“Ossie needs more playing time in senior football, and we think Rosengård is a good place for him to develop.
About his farewell to AB, Liesdek says:
– I would like to send a big thank you to both staff, players and everyone around the club for supporting me and contributing to a good period here in AB. I will continue to follow the club and wish everyone in AB the best in the future, says Yael Liesdek.
Head coach Joey Gudjonsson has only good things to say about Yael Liesdek.
– It has been a pleasure to have Yael in our locker room, where he has always been 100% dedicated and positive about our project.
“Unfortunately, we have not been able to offer him the playing time he expected, as others have done very well, and therefore it makes sense for all parties that we part,” says Joey Gudjonsson.
AB wishes the two players the best of luck with their future careers.
