Akademisk Boldklub A/S and defender Noah Ibsen have agreed on a contract extension for another two years until June 2028.
AB’s head coach, Joey Gudjonsson, is looking forward to continuing Ibsen’s development:
“Noah has seized the opportunity and developed nicely in recent months. His physical presence and technical skills on the ball make him a very exciting player for us to work with. We are confident that we can help him take the next steps in his development.”
Ibsen was promoted from AB U19 to the first team in July 2024. He has made four first-team appearances for AB A/S this autumn, including two in the league.
The young defender is also excited about tying his future to his childhood club:
“I am incredibly proud to extend my contract with the club, and I was not in doubt for a second. I really think we’re doing something exciting and I’m really looking forward to developing even more under Joey’s leadership.”
Noah Ibsen is a product of AB’s academy, and he has played 34 games and scored three goals for AB U19.
