Tomorrow Friday, October 31, 2025, AB Gladsaxe will travel to Sundby Idrætspark, where Fremad Amager will host.
Referee Frederikke Lydia Søkjær will kick off the traditional clash at 7:00 PM with Ulrik Gøtze and Martin Egtved Munch Jørgensen on the sidelines.
Fremad Amager sits 9th in the table with 12 points. Fremad Amager lost their latest match after a close 1-0 defeat on the difficult away ground against Vendsyssel. Fremad Amager has Emeka Andersen suspended for the match against AB.
AB won 3-1 against Brabrand at Gladsaxe Stadium last week, with goalscorers Casper Grening and Adrien Koudelka, who scored for the 3rd match in a row. Marco Vesterholm scored his first goal in the green jersey. AB has no suspensions. Sundby Idrætspark has artificial turf, so AB has trained on artificial turf leading up to the match.
AB must try to secure their 7th consecutive victory to maintain their current first place position. AB is in 1st place with 30 points, FC Roskilde is in 2nd place with 27 points, and Næstved is in 3rd place with 25 points.
The latest match between AB and Fremad Amager was played on September 26, 2025, at Gladsaxe Stadium. It resulted in a 5-0 victory for AB with four different goalscorers. They were Jonathan Mathys, Marco Ramkilde, Søren Ilsøe, and two goals by O’Vonte Mullings.
It’s set up to be an exciting match, and strong support is needed.
Marcus Immersen says the attitude and energy are at their peak:
It’s going to be an awesome match at a great stadium. Their new artificial turf and the many spectators – it’s going to be good. We’ve been training on artificial turf during the week and we’re facing a strong opponent. The energy is high and there’s good intensity in training. We need to do the same as we did against them last time. It’s all about our attitude and energy – and we’re ready for that.
Head coach Joey Gudjonsson believes artificial turf could be an advantage:
We played really well the last time we faced Fremad Amager, creating many chances and scoring lots of goals. It’ll probably be harder to beat them on their home turf. We expect a defensive team similar to Brabrand, so we need to be prepared and solid as a unit.
We will continue to focus on ourselves and our own game. Even though we’re playing away, we’re going for a win. That’s the mindset everyone has. I think it will be a good match, because they have a new artificial turf, so I expect a lot of quality.
