Akademisk Boldklub A/S has extended the contract with Tobias Damtoft. The 23-year-old right-back has extended his agreement with the club until June 2028.

“Damtoft has really seized the opportunity after joining late in pre-season. He fits well with the way we want to play, and his work ethic is a pleasure to have in daily training. We’re very much looking forward to continuing to work with Damtoft and taking the next steps together,” says Head Coach Joey Gudjonsson.

Damtoft joined AB in July 2025 after several seasons at Holstebro Boldklub. He started his youth career at FC Midtjylland’s academy and has also played 9 matches for Denmark’s U17 national team as well as one match for the U18 national team.

“Tobias has adapted really quickly to our league and playing style,” states sporting director Jen Chang. “He has also shown that he feels at home at left-back and has demonstrated a really good combination of offensive and defensive qualities.”
