Akademisk Boldklub A/S has signed a contract with winger Osama Murshed. The 19-year-old Murshed has signed a deal running until June 2027.

“Osama comes from our academy and is an exciting young player. He has really made great strides during this preseason, and I’m incredibly proud that yet another young AB player is making the step up to senior level,” says head coach Joey Gudjonsson.

Murshed has played for AB’s U19 academy team throughout the 2024/2025 season and has been a key player for the side that won the U19 league.

“Osama has really impressed us during preseason training, and he has shown that he’s ready to make the step up to senior football. He’s a very direct player and good at putting pressure on the opponent, and it will be exciting to see him develop further under Joey with the first team,” says sporting director Jen Chang.

Murshed joined AB’s academy in July 2023 and has contributed with 10 goals in 43 matches – including eight goals in 29 matches during the 2024/2025 season.

“Signing a contract with AB is a dream come true, and I’m very proud to represent the club as we head into the upcoming season. I’m looking forward to developing even more and hope I can contribute with some decisive moments in the season ahead,” – Osama Murshed.
