When AB meets FC Nordsjælland on 6 December at 18:00 in the first match of the Oddset Cup quarter-finals, it will be with free admission to Right to Dream Park for all citizens in Gladsaxe Municipality and Furesø Municipality.
The mayor of Gladsaxe, Trine Græse, is grateful for the opportunity to send the citizens of the two municipalities to free football in Right to Dream Park.
“It will be an exciting experience when AB and FCN meet each other in the cup tournament. I would like to thank FCN for the hospitality in providing free admission for the citizens of Gladsaxe. And I hope that a lot of people from Gladsaxe will find their way to Right to Dream Park.”
The last time AB faced FC Nordsjælland in the cup was in the 3rd round back in 2009. Here, the North Zealanders secured a 4-1 victory, and the one goal for AB was scored by Nicolai Jørgensen.
The current head coach of FCN, Johannes Hof Thorup also started his coaching career in AB as a youth coach. In addition, several in the sporting management have had a past in AB, and there are even several players who have played time in both clubs. The stage is therefore set for a festive bang!
